Anna Fleming is the Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer for AXA’s Retail business where she is responsible for Customer sales and service, Claims, IT and change.  Prior to joining AXA in May 2022, Anna was Chief Operating Officer at the Motor Insurers’ Bureau where she led the team who built the OIC portal for the MOJ.  Anna also spent 13 years at Zurich in a variety of senior claims roles, including Programme Director for Zurich’s Guidewire transformation and Chief Claims Officer.  Anna is a non-practising solicitor.

Bob James is Chief Operations Officer at Lloyd’s focused on aligning the Market Transformation Digitalisation (Blueprint Two programme) with the Operations functions at Lloyd’s.

With a broad sector background, Bob is a senior operating executive with a successful track record in business (P&L) management, marketing, operations, investment banking, offshore sourcing, technology development, data and analytics, InsurTech investments, and business transformation. He has held C-Suite roles with leading U.S. and International insurers in operations, underwriting, sales, sales management, marketing, technology, P&L management, offshore sourcing and business transformation. Bob is involved in the Insurtech ecosystem with experience in business plan development, capital raising, and connecting start-ups to the insurance industry.

Bob is a member of the ACORD Board, the PPL (Placing Platform Limited Board), the London Market Joint Venture Board and also sits on the Board of Institutes (a U.S. Based Insurance Educational Association).

Tarun is Managing Director & Head Group Delivery Services at Swiss Re accountable for execution of new growth opportunities and innovative business models by leveraging digital technology. He is also Chairman of Swiss Re Solutions AG (Ltd), the Zurich registered legal entity set up to market non-risk transfer solutions from across the different businesses. Prior to joining Swiss Re, he held senior technology leadership roles at M&G Prudential and BP plc driving the digital transformation agenda. Tarun is also active in the fintech ecosystem. He has been Non-executive director and Board member for Mishipay – a retail payment start-up and was part of the Executive board of advisors for Puppet – a leading devops startup. He is currently an advisory board member for CIONET UK and a member of CIONET Innovation Council.  

Richard Pash joined Zurich in July 2016 as Director of UK Life Marketing. He became UK Marketing Director in 2017 and UK Chief Customer Officer in 2020.  Richard leads the UK Customer Office, delivering Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Customer Insight and Experience, Customer Communication, and Events.

Dan Bendavid is the Global Lead Innovation at AXA XL since May 2023. He leads a team of Innovation Leads and Analysts who work on various innovation projects and foster an innovation culture with internal and external partners. Dan used to work at AXA Next where he managed several P&C Business Innovation projects using automation, data enrichment, unstructured data processing and predictive modeling.

Beat Stalder is the Chief Underwriting Officer Non-Life of Helvetia Insurance Company. His responsibility is to insure the underwriting quality within the group and to further improve risk selection and pricing capabilities.

Trenholm Palmer is the Director of Digital Insurance for Volvo Financial Services (VFS) in the United States market. He is responsible for the operations and growth of VFS’s commercial and connected insurance distribution across the heavy truck and construction equipment finance channels. Prior to VFS, he founded and ran New Light Research, which provided alternative data insights to large professional services firms with a focus on publicly traded financial institutions and re/insurance companies. He also served as an advisory resource to insurtech startups on formation, insurer and specialty intermediary negotiations, go-to-market strategies, and product distribution. Before this 7+ year entrepreneurial period, Trenholm spent 13 years across a variety of sales and business development leadership roles within commercial insurance brokerage and management consulting. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington & Lee University and a Master of Business Administration degree from ISM, Paris.
